ABOUT US
We are Spencer & Kristina…husband and wife travelers…40-somethings…no kids. We love the ocean and the mountains, and everything in-between.
Find us lounging on the beach, scuba diving, backpacking, sky diving, touring an art museum, or 4-wheeling in the desert. Give us street food in Bangkok or a Michelin Star restaurant in Barcelona. We are happy staying in a shared bunk room in a Refugio in Patagonia, or in a posh hotel in New York City.
WHY WE TRAVEL
Travel has provided us with some of our fondest memories. We were both fortunate enough to have been introduced to travel at young ages, and have appreciated it our whole lives.
For us, travel provides variety in physical location, food, and culture. It has shown us that people around the world are (generally) kind and helpful, even to strangers. It has made us more eager to help foreign travelers while in the United States, and more comfortable asking for help while abroad.
We love learning, and travel lets you do that on a daily basis - from learning your way around a new city, to taking a tour and learning about the history of a new location, or having a conversation with fellow travelers and learning about their adventures or home town during a hotel happy hour.
