HIGHLIGHTS

The locals were SO friendly…they invited us to birthday parties, shared their favorite trails, offered to share tables at restaurants, and generally went out of their way to be kind.

OUR NOT-SO-FAVORITE THINGS

It was exceptionally crowded and touristy in Banff. We’d recommend staying in the cute little town of Canmore (20 min from Banff) and just going to Banff for a meal or a specific activity.

WHY WE PICKED THIS LOCATION

After our Italy trip in 2023, we wanted to check out another mountain range that was a little easier to get to than Italy.

The northern Rocky Mountains came to mind, so we started to research. Although they weren’t quite as majestic as the Dolomites in Italy, they certainly didn’t disappoint!

Revelstoke has been on our minds after hearing about their ski mountain. We thought it would be fun to check it out in the summer and after visiting, it’s definitely on our list to go back during the winter for skiing!
