HIGHLIGHTS

Since this was an Anniversary celebration, we stayed at the beautiful Grace Bay Club - the resort itself was a highlight!

Provo Ponies also provided an unforgettable experience…a horseback ride not just TO the beach, but IN the water. The horses seemed to love it, as did we…what a cool experience!

Dive Provo provided us with some absolutely wonderful scuba diving with clear, warm water and beautiful plant and animal life.

NOTE

In preparation for this trip, Spencer completed his Open Water Scuba classroom and pool requirements, as well as the first 2 open water dives in Denver (at the Denver Aquarium!). So we were able to complete his last 2 Certification dives with Dive Provo on our first dive morning of the trip, and on the 2nd dive morning, we were able to enjoy a wonderful buddy dive with our small group/dive master (Note: Kristina was certified in 1999, and then completed a re-certification class just before this trip as well)!

WHY WE PICKED THIS LOCATION

New to us (never been to Caribbean)

Close enough to get there and home in 1 day of travel each - we could only be gone only 7 days so didn’t want to eat up too much time getting there and back.

Decent time of year to visit - not prime time, but a good balance for the price-tag!

We had the time in advance for Spencer to get Scuba certified, and knew we could finish his certification in Turks.
